Overview Of Hospitals

There are ten acute care hospitals within Region 2, with each participating in the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response’s (ASPR) Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP). Through this program, hospital Emergency Preparedness Coordinators meet on a monthly basis to discuss lessons learned and work on joint initiatives, such as the purchase of equipment or the development of plans. As with the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) coalition, there is an HPP Regional Coordinator who works closely with the hospitals to ensure regional alignment and coordination. For more information, please contact Katrina Stanziano, HPP Regional Coordinator, at StanzianoK@worcesterma.gov.
