Academic Health Collaborative
The Academic Health Collaborative of Worcester (AHCW) represents a formal affiliation between the Worcester Division of Public Health (WDPH) and Worcester’s academic institutions. Academic Health Departments (AHD) exist to strengthen the linkage between public health practice and its broad academic base and are designed to enhance public health education and training, research, and service. AHDs facilitate public health training opportunities for students, as well as research and practice involving both academic and practice communities.
One component of the AHCW is hosting an internship program for college students to engage in real world public health projects. We encourage you to view and apply for internship positions.
